Annual Thanksgiving Feast & Canned Food Drive

We need your help!

It is our company’s vision to make a difference by giving back to the communities in which we work. That’s why we have joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica in their canned food drive that will be distributed during one of the Club’s biggest giving events of the year – the Annual Thanksgiving Dinner. Each year, the club prepares a Thanksgiving feast for Club members and their families. Last year over 200 people attended the event (see photos above), most of whom thought there wouldn’t even be a Thanksgiving dinner.

Sadly, there are many heartrending stories this year from families about their struggles to make ends meet during this rough economic period, therefore not having enough money for a Thanksgiving dinner. This event offers our community an opportunity to give the club’s members and their local families a powerful gift, not just in time and food donated, but in knowing that their community cares for them.

In addition to giving families a feast on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, we would also like to give 50 families a Thanksgiving Food Basket so they can have their very own meal on Thanksgiving Day.

In order to make this goal a reality we need to collect the following items that go into making a Thanksgiving Dinner!

- Gift Certificates for Frozen Turkeys
- Canned Ham & Meats
- Bisquick, Corn Meal
- Flour, Sugar, Brown Sugar
- Canned Pie Filling, Pie Crust Mix
- Jello, Pudding Mix
- Canned Veggies, Yams, Marshmallows
- Stuffing Mix, Instant Mashed Potatoes
- Rice, Dried Beans
- Fruit Cocktail, Canned Fruit
- Cranberry Sauce
- Canned Gravy, Broth, Canned Milk
